The Global Brand Manager role:
Work on the development of marketing strategy for the category in Romania and the Export countries. Recommend marketing budgets and best marketing mix (brand positioning, product innovation, packaging, communication) to each country in collaboration with the Marketing Director and Export team, based on a thorough analysis and understanding of the countries.
Collaborate with local teams and follow up the implementation of recommended strategy and the agreed marketing plans.
Lead the planning and execution of most marketing activities in line with the agreed category strategy to reach the forecasted volumes (launches, re-launches). Lead the development of new product initiatives: market and consumer research, product research, concept communication development, packaging development by analyzing market and consumer research data.
Drive brands growth. Manage and execute value added offers, identify opportunities, manage brands performance, present plans & gain internal alignment with key stakeholders.
Track consumer and market insights by reviewing metrics such as sales volume, market share, pricing and distribution, and by conducting consumer research.
Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Sales, identifying brands’ opportunities in the market in planning and executing the BTL activities.
Work closely with all relevant departments/ stakeholders to consult on all brand-related aspects that are important for the proper implementation of brand initiative.

The sought after profile:
University degree, preferably in economics
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Brand marketing, at least 3 in FMCG, preferably food industry
Good knowledge of marketing concepts and practices in brand management: brand positioning, advertising and media strategies and briefing, consumer promo, new product development, consumer insights, etc.
Analytical person with good business acumen (finance, sales, etc.)
Very good project management & analytical skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges within the larger market context and specifically for the assigned brand(s), attention to details
Self-driven, able to work efficiently in the context of a high pace working environment, with significant autonomy
Highly effective when working with others and in a multi-function team
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Energetic and enthusiast
Positive and resilient
Able to react fast in changing situations
English fluent (written and spoken)
Highly skilled technology handler.
